DESCRIPTION:In an effort to provide community members with an opportunity to make informed voting decisions\, the Cape Girardeau\, Jackson\, and Scott City Chambers of Commerce are excited to welcome you to our inaugural After Hours Meet & Greet with Candidates featuring local candidates running in the April election.\n\n \n\nUnlike a typical candidate event\, there will not be a forum at the Meet & Greet\, but rather\, each candidate will be stationed at a booth for you to stop by and visit with. A map of candidate locations will be provided as you enter for easy location of the candidates in your voting district. \n\n\n\nMembers of all participating Chambers receive priority access from 4:30-5:00 PM. Beginning at 5:00 PM\, all community members are welcome to attend. There will be a cash-only (no debit/credit capability) bar and light appetizers available. Also\, hand sanitizer will be readily available and masks are optional. \n\n\n\nPlease be aware there will be no candidate bashing or unbecoming behavior during the event. Individuals participating in such behavior will be asked to leave. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note: Attendee information will not be shared with candidates\n\n\n\nIf you are a candidate wishing to participate in the event\, please register here by March 11\, 2022.
