Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Direct leadership and oversight of projects
  • Provide organization, database management, and administration for the maintenance department, with a focus on preventative maintenance and revising overall workflow
  • Supervise technicians with organizing and prioritizing tasks; provide coaching and development
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members with advanced mechanical troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for value-added improvements
  • Write SOP's and create training materials for new processes and equipment

Qualifications:
  • BS degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in workflow management and administration, especially the ability to organize and prioritize the tasks of others to achieve optimized productivity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the mechanical and electrical composition of process equipment
  • 3-7 years field experience with mechanical and electrical repair of equipment
  • 3-5 years experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Strong safety culture awareness for process and personnel
  • Solid knowledge of database management, personnel management, troubleshooting process equipment issues, and administration of form-based workflow
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with training or certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other project management or process improvement programs
