About Us
Painted Wren Art Gallery is a veteran-owned business selling original paintings, photographs, prints, graphite drawings, and other items such as goat milk soaps, children's books, pottery, quilts, coasters, note cards, and more all created and made by local artists.
Painted Wren Art Gallery is the birthplace of the Missouri Bicentennial Mural. The original is housed at the Truman Building in Jefferson City, MO. Replicas can be ordered at the gallery.
Paint for a Cause is an ongoing fundraising project at Painted Wren. Either we pick a local charity or the charity contacts us about hosting a paint for a cause. For only $1 donation (or more), people can paint on a gray-scale canvas, with assistance from Aaron or Barb. After expenses, the painting and money are given to the Cause.
Painted Wren is a working gallery, as owner Aaron Horrell and manager Barb Bailey work together writing and illustrating children's books which are only available here and on Amazon.com. Both Aaron and Barb are juried Best of Missouri Hands artists. They are also members of the Cat Ranch Art Guild, and Arts Council of Southeast Missouri.
