About Us

Our mission is to protect and manage the fish, forest, and wildlife resources of the state; to facilitate and provide opportunity for all citizens to use, enjoy, and learn about these resources. We help make Missouri a great place to live. We conserve and protect our state's great outdoors. The Cape Girardeau Nature Center showcases the rich cultural history and diverse natural resources of southeast Missouri. Exhibits, trails, programs, educational resources, and kids' only fishing pond.
