What to expect when
Day 1 - Getting the Job
Presented by --- MaKenya Owens
From getting your first job to changing careers, how do you market yourself for the position you want to be in? In this session you'll learn how to evaluate your personal inventories, determine transferable skills, and tailor your resume to set yourself apart.
Day 2 - Creating Inclusive Spaces
Presented by --- Wyky Jean
We hear the words diversity and inclusion a lot, but have you ever wondered how you can influence your work culture to be more inclusive? Join us for a unique deep-dive into diversity and inclusion - what does it mean? How can you support it? What are your biases? How can you encourage bias understanding and diversity inclusion in your work culture? Answer these questions and more in this session.
Day 3 - Financial Stability
Presented by --- Dr. Ben Dow
With the end of a pandemic, the onset of a potential recession, and life's ever-changing challenges, how do you sustain your current lifestyle while preparing for future uncertainties? This session will walk through those challenges and scalability of the strategies you can implement to achieve your goals.
Day 4 - Practical Perspectives on Entrepreneurship
Presented by --- Rick Hetzel
We all know the flashy side of entrepreneurship - setting your own schedule, making millions - but what does the reality of entrepreneurship look like? How do you know if something should be or remain a side-hustle, or if you're ready to take the plunge with both feet? In this session, you'll get a step-by-step guide to taking the leap into entrepreneurship including what resources are available and the down and dirty all want-to-be entrepreneurs need to know.
Day 5 - Dreams: The Stuff Success Is Made Of
Presented by --- Nina DeAngelo
In this interactive presentation, you will be introduced to your unconscious and subconscious minds and give a high-level explanation of how these two levels of consciousness all work together with the conscious mind to drive every day decision making and thought processes. You'll discover how you develop your values and beliefs systems through a process called imprinting and how you have the power within to change them if they currently do not serve your greater good. In this session, you will leave with a deeper understanding of how your brain, emotions, and heart all have a role in the decision-making process and be energized to move towards your own success.
