Join us as we hear from John Spear of Edge Realty, a Cape Girardeau native who has built his life and career around staying connected and giving back to the community he calls home. He is also recognized as the Official REALTOR of SEMO Athletics, reflecting his strong ties to local sports and school pride.

From coaching youth teams and supporting local athletics to serving in leadership roles with organizations like United Way of Southeast Missouri and the Cape Chamber, John brings a well rounded, firsthand perspective on what it means to truly be involved.

He currently serves as Vice President of United Way of Southeast Missouri and is active across numerous boards, committees, and volunteer efforts throughout the region. In 2023, he was recognized as a “Difference Maker” in Southeast Missouri, a reflection of his ongoing commitment to making a real impact.
